The Two Twin Towers (song)
The two twin towers, proud and free
But terrorists brought them down in a killing spree
Some died in planes, some died in fire,
some jumped in vain
from the crumbling towers
And we all watched as the towers fell apart,
tearing though our senses and ripping out our hearts
and our hopes and prayers went to those bereaved
Our resolve to fight will never, ever , leave
The two twin towers, proud and free
But terrorists brought them down in a killing spree
Some died in planes, some died in fire,
some jumped in vain
from the crumbling towers

At Christmas Time (song)
At Christmas time when I was nine,
I waited up Chrismas eve,
I waited to see what it could be ,
That Santa had brought for me...
Now I had been good and I'd been bad
And I'd been inbetween...
But nothing compared to what waited there
Which destroyed my Christmas dream.
Santa didn't wrap my undies,
He just hung them from the tree,
In front of god and everybody,
He hung my BVD's
My brother got some games and cash,
All wrapped in Christmas glee
But I stood there as everyone stared
At what Santa did to me.
Santa didn't wrap my undies,
He just hung them from the tree,
In front of god and everybody,
He hung my BVD's

Smoochie Poochie
There once was a man who would race racing dogs.
His champions were known from here to Saint Paul.
He went looking for a dog worthy of his "Sweet May",
a task he found very hard even in those days.
He looked high and low and finally he found
a pureblooded dog that was worthy as a hound.
His highest prized dog was nothing short of the best.
The breeder would do his job and she'd weed out the rest.
Day after day, as he took her on his trip,
he'd be greeted by a mongrel, who he'd kick with a flip!
Now she had been bred to the fastest dog of all,
Who had run like the wind in a short distance haul.
Although she had be

Evolution of the Mind *article
Every time I talk about this subject, I try never to do it the same way each time. I'm very interested in exploring the impact of psilocybin on human evolution, values, and institutions.
Sometime in the last 3 million years, our ancestors (the Proto-Hominids) were disrupted in their evolutionary climax in the tree canopies of the great rain forest of Africa. Most animal species evolve into a niche, tighter and tighter and tighter. We see this with termites, cockroaches and most life forms. Only if the niche is somehow disrupted or destroyed does the game veer away from its tendency toward closure, and this is what happened to human beings. O

Are there Alien's ? (article)
I think we hardly have an inkling as to the real nature of this world and the real history of life on this planet. We don't know how narrowly channeled the manifestation of organic intelligence is. Does it always have to be in a body? Does it always have to be in a body that stands up and has binocular vision? I think the real task of dealing with extraterrestrials to know when you've got one. Its completely silly to search the galaxy with radio telescope for a radio civilization. In my mind that's just as silly as deciding your going to search the galaxy for a decent italian restaurant. If you think about the mushroom objectively it looks li

Octopi as a Metaphor (article)
Octopi (belonging to the class Cephalapoda) have the ability to change colour. It is generally assumed that they do this for camouflage underwater or to make them appear less palatable to predators but this is in fact only part of the story.
Octopi are molluscs - they diverged from our own evolutionary line 700 million years ago and are related to the Escargot family (snails). Since they have no backbone they are not classified as vertebrates. However, Octupi are considered a wonderful example of parallel evolution because their optical system is very similar to the mammalian optical system. The reason for this is thought to be that they evo

Heart of a Young Girl (song)
The Heart of a Young Girl
Your light grows dim, and hard to see.
Your restless soul, has sailed to sea.
You once were watched, by restless eyes,
Love made it clear, beneath my cries.
Your face to me, was heaven alone.
Your sparkling eyes, ohh how they shone.
But who am I, so blind to see.
A foolish child, the joke's on me.
Crushed in me's the heart of a young girl
Who's foolish ways were never truely won
I put you there up high on a pedestal,
I was the clown, I was the fool
So as we go, our separate ways
you're in my heart, from day to day
but who can tell, how love begins.
'cause no-one knows the story's end.

Who gives to the world, all of himself with heart unfurled...
Who gives to the night, his burning heart and solemn plight...
Who gives without bound, his passion breathing through sacred sound...
Who gives to each one, the firey depth of his burning sun...
Who gave his love to me, but in the end longed to be freed...
Who gave my wretched soul, a taste of light and hollow hole...
Who flies so far from reach, of trembling hands and hearts so weak...
Who gives a tiny damn, for me the foolish stubborn lamb....

This is what it consists of, what it looks like and where to find it. Send your ships as we don't deliver."

Stan in the hand (poem)
There once was a birdie named Stan,
Who tried to fly but he couldn't land.
He hit like a toad in the middle of the road.
His mission had not gone as planned.
So I rushed out to save this young bird,
before something horrible occurred.
His frail body was limp as a wimp of a shrimp
And he whispered a chirp barely heard.
I made him a nest in a box,
where he rested and chirped on the spot.
I fed him some bread, as he tilted his head,
and he gorged his big mouth quite a lot.
Stan grew so fast he was flying at last,
through the house and it filled me with dread.
Cause when friends came around he would fly from the ground,
and try

Walking on water that is hotter than fire,
Breathing air that's thick and warm,
Dreaming the past away-
Like nothing ever happened...
She's away and gone,
But it looks like she's still there,
She's lost and alone,
But she smiles it away,
To keep the dark at bay,
But its slowly running back,
Its slowly engulfing her till the end is all there is to have...
She's living her worst nightmare,
And she still tells him she's joking,
She still tells him she likes him as a friend,
And only that,
"Only"
She says only like its a good thing...
She loves silence,
She breathes it like its fresh,

The Tale of Harold Shards
This is the tale of Harold Shards,
Who liked to play a game of cards.
He'd have a pint down at the pub,
Then went to Derry's gaming club.
While Harold gamely was competing,
Other members there were cheating,
As on the game they all embarked,
Using cards which had all been marked.
Harold though was unaware,
And thought the game was strictly fair,
But at each game he came unstuck,
But put this down to rotten luck.
Then suddenly he got a hand,
That made him think the game was planned.
He got four aces and a king,
Which seemed to be the normal thing.
But then he took a closer glance,
And knew this hand was not by chance.
Then al

Tami's Song-She Loved the Rain
Verse 1
Throwing back my head to feel the slightest sting of rain on my face,
I go back to the time when you were holding my hand,
doin' the same thing in a different place.
We were six years old and as close as two friends could be.
You were so full of joy and always laughin' and bein' bold so that everyone could see.
Chorus:
But now, you're just a dream of mine,
One that always ends too soon.
Even though you're not with me now
your presence shines just like the light of the moon.
Verse 2
As we grew up, you'd never tolerate things being dull,
As you pushed at fate sometimes throwing caution to the wind, and the rain.
You li

I have sad news for friends of Mercury-Autumn. I was her fiance of 3 years and spent a lot of my time talking with her over that time but unfortunately due to impossible circumstances we never actually met. She meant everything to me and was the most wonderfully intelligent, compassionate and understanding woman I have ever been blessed to have known.
She died on Sunday 21st August 2005 from a combination of overmedication, frontal lobe seizures which she had suffered since a car accident at 18, and general progressively declining quality of health which she never complained about or worried me with.
Just before I think she knew she was going to die, she very generously sent me some of her inheritance money so I could buy the best synthesiser on the market so I could be the musician she knew I always wanted to be.
When she died I knew I let her down. And its too late now. I just don`t want to let her down again.
I hope this site will forever remind people of the person she was and the last visited time will always remind me of how long I am always going to miss her.
